ABOUT US...

A group of Maroubra (Maroubra Jct, Maroubra Beach, Sth Maroubra, Duffy's Corner, Lurline Bay), and surrounding districts' businesses, interested people and community groups gathering once a month at 7pm on the first Tuesday of every month except November and January.

450 leaflets are hand-delivered monthly to businesses in our extended area. 

We encourage you to come along to a gathering to see the benefits of being a Maroubra Chamber member first hand.

A local business hosts the night providing a venue, supper & beverages. 

At these gatherings, people meet to discuss ways to improve, promote and support our businesses and community. It is a great opportunity to talk with other business owners and  get to know, where they are situated and what they do and what their business offers in a relaxed  non-pressure environment.                                                               

It is very informative.

This relaxed atmosphere is an ideal situation to socialise, mix ideas, talk about local issues and network. 

Also it is a melting pot group who discuss relevant local, state & federal government issues, transport and environmental issues etc that directly affect our businesses and/or what action to take should it be in our power to do so. 

We liaise directly with the State Chamber of Commerce and meet quarterly with Randwick City Combined Chambers of Commerce and Randwick City Council.  We communicate with the Police, local Precinct Committees and also non government organisations,  to stay informed and up-to-date.    

Many members are "go getters" and if they can help, they will go out of their way to do so.

We encourage you to promote your businesses at the gatherings and swap business cards and flyers.
